But Where Are the Genealogists?

As an amateur practitioner of that craft, I would be pleased indeed to find a graveyard so tidy and well-kept, with upright stones and, I suspect, more than a few still-legible inscriptions.

Several times, I have followed decades-old directions to this or that family or small church cemetery only to find a heap of weed-infested rubble or even, once, a big-box shopping mall.
