Kennedy Era

This photo is earlier than the headline would indicate... my guess is 1963 or so. The oldest singing Osmond, Alan, is two years older than me. In 1968 I would have been 17, so I don't think Alan was 19 in that photo! The late '60s weren't exactly the Osmond years... too old for barbershop, and they weren't quite ready to be the pop stars they later became. Talented kids! Still performing and recording, with new Osmond generations making their mark in the music biz.

From the left

Bucky, Bucky, Bucky, and Snaggly.

Andy Williams Show

In the pre-Donny days, these four appeared regularly with Andy Williams on his show singing barbershop quartet. When Donny got old enough they switched over to pop (and ended making a lot more money I'd wager).

Probable lineup

Pre-Donnie: Alan, Wayne, Merrill, and Jay.
