Pile It On

I have no clue about any telephone polls, but the pile of rocks across the street, where there is no pole, and the workmen further down the street, suggest that those piles of cobblestones are being stored on the sidewalk, as part of street repair, rather than having anything to do with the one pole they surround.

Telephone polls

Wow, they'd never allow that now. Those telephone polls are stablized by putting rocks next to them.

[Those kind of telephone polls raise a lot of questions, that's for sure. -tterrace]
