Good Old Walt

He is probably rolling over in his grave now with what the people at Disney are doing today. I too can remember those old TV shows from back in the 50s and 60s.

That other Mighty Mouse and the movie, maybe

Since 2004 there have been continuing plans for a Mighty Mouse movie. This is not Mickey but the competing figure created for 20th Century Fox and immortalized by "Here I Come to Save the Day!"

Wonderful World of Disney

I can’t see this guy’s face without it taking me back to his TV show on Sunday, when we’d all gather round and watch together. Whether it was a nature show or something animated or a movie, he would always open the program by giving an introduction. I believe the word avuncular was invented for him. All was well in the world with Walt Disney in the house.
