Frame In Frame

The framed image of the chimney pipe looks like it is from the school of photorealism.

Time travel

Oddly, the guy next to Radar, who really lived in Ottumwa, Iowa, looks very much like Matt Smith, the 11th Doctor on Doctor Who. He may have picked Radar up in Iowa and brought him along to Vermont to help him

"Here Buddy,

sit on this telephone and try not to move. Thanks."

Looks like the snow

is creeping up to the window soon.

Looks Familiar

Is that Radar's father smoking the pipe?

Radar!

I didn't know Radar smoked a pipe!

Keeping feet warm and dry since 1911.

L.L. Bean's Maine Hunting Shoe. Leon Bean invented them and they were his first product. The first 100 were defective and he replaced them all. They became an iconic American product. The Freeport store never closed. My wife and I stopped late on a winter night in '67. We were the only customers. Bought a Hudson Bay four point blanket for $36.

Wood stove heat just can't be beat.

Four guys hugging that box heater. February in Vermont I'd like to see the woodpile. I bet there's plenty stacked and seasoned.

Radar

There's that O'Reilly kid on the left, before he went to Korea.

Aww to get away

I'd love to hang out with these guys next to that wood-fired stove. After all, we have been through over the last year, including the elections, this would be a great place to be away from it all.

I'll be curious if anyone can find out more information about that stove. It appears that it is a Logwood brand stove No. 51 L. That step gives further information as it says: Hardwood Stove Cleveland, Tenn. All my googling attempts led me to U.S. Stove Company. Could this be the old Logwood stove maker?

Radar

That has to be Radar O'Reilly's older brother on the left.

RADAR per?

Is that Gary Burghoff's dad with the pipe?
