Turn around

There was no clock because it was on the old City Hall, at the opposite end of Cadillac Square. Cameo appearance by the Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument.

Old City Hall with clock

What time is it?

All that tower ... and no clock.

EV anyone?

I think the second car from the right is a Baker Electric. Slightly ahead of the times.

Very Austrian/Viennese looking building

... especially with those statues on the top.

Making do

It seems remarkable that the county never felt it necessary to building something bigger, even as the population grew almost eight-fold over the next half century. Many of the administrative offices have recently been relocated to the Guardian Building, rather ironically as the population is now falling off.
