Built in 1930 and looking like any other locomotive, CB&Q #4000 was dressed with a shroud in 1937 and named "Aeolus" (keeper of the wind). I would imagine that during the Depression it was one way to make travel more inviting. The shroud was removed in 1940; she's now on permanent display at Copeland Park in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
