A picture of the "The Last Run" of the DCFD Fire Horses Barney, Gene, and Tom. The Driver is Jim Gatley. The Run was held on June 15, 1925. They responded from Engine Company No 8 along North Carolina Avenue S.E. Tom was the last D.C. fire horse to die and we are actively looking for the gravestone that was erected at Blue Plains.
