Venus Car: 1954

This is a photo of a car called the Venus, and these were made (all 8 of them) in Houston, Texas. It was on the cover of Motor Trend, May 1954. I am the son of the car's designer, and I am currently restoring one of only two known to still be in existence.
I would like to know if anyone out there might know who the people are in the photo, or more general, if anyone's parents used to own or drive one of these cars.
There is much more information about the Venus on my blog, http://mcload.wordpress.com/ View full size.
