Second postcard of Meskwaki Indians from the early 1900s in Tama, Iowa. Comments helped me discover that these are "Real Photo" postcards from home camera negatives. This is Billy Jones [Billie on front, Billy on back]. He was a WWI veteran and did dances for the Green Corn Festivals for the Nation and visitors. He danced the Scalp Dance (later renamed the Victory Dance), the Eagle Dance, and others. View full size.
