Visit to Statue of Liberty: 1940

This is a family visit to the Statue of Liberty in 1940. Pictured left to right, my Great Aunt Caditha, Great Uncle Avalino, my grandmother Felismina, and my father Manny. I'm not sure who the young girl in white is. The other young girl is my godmother and father's cousin, Teresa. My family did not immigrate from Spain via Ellis Island. They came via Cuba to Miami in the '20s and '30s. View full size.
