Clifford Young: 1917

Clifford Young was my maternal grandfather; he left the Midwest to seek a living in the state of Nevada during its busy mining era near the turn of the 19th century.  At the time of this photograph, around 1917, he was working as a bartender in the famed  Minden Inn located in Minden, Nevada.  While working there he eventually met and married my future grandmother. View full size.
