Fiddlin' Bill Hensley

Fiddlin' Bill Hensley

Colorized version of Ben Shahn's photograph of Bill Hensley, a mountain fiddler from Asheville, North Carolina. The strong Scots-Irish influence in local music is still evident today. View full size.
