Informal Family Photo: 1955

This is my immediate family, taken in 1955, probably in the fall. George (baby) was in his first year and I was two. This 35mm Kodachrome slide was taken with us perched upon what we called "The Cave." This was the place where food was stored year round. The temperature remained constantly low and acted as a natural refrigerator. On the farm near Blandinsville, Illinois. View full size.
