Mother and Son: 1902

This cabinet photo was taken in 1902 in Brooklyn, New York. That's my paternal grandmother, Margaret Dunlap McNeal Wilson, who was born in Newburgh, New York in 1865 and died there in 1950. The toddler is her only child and my father, Robert John Wilson (1901-1986). Sadly, she lost her husband and he, his father, Samuel Hugh Wilson (1855-1903), in April, 1903, after only four days of illness (pneumonia). View full size.
