About the Photos

Most of the photos on this site were extracted from reference images (high-resolution tiffs, 20 to 200 megabytes in size) from the Library of Congress research archive. (To query the database click here.) Many were digitized by LOC contractors using a Sinar studio back. They are adjusted by your webmaster for contrast and color in Photoshop before being downsized and turned into the jpegs you see here.

Ignatius

Ignatius

serious

he looks so serious, but, yet, looks as if he may burst out laughing at any second!

Ignatius

He is thinking.............about lifes great questions

Ignatius

He's not standing straight is he?
Love your creative & dark side. If your really Roger, thank you for a wonderful part of my life & memories.

(You too Fleetwood)

Ignatius

Ok Roger & Fleetwood; I think he at all the meat & pudding because he didn't want any of children to eat. And has suffered major indigestion.

Uh oh!

...and get them drawers down! You know this cat ain't playin'

uh oh

I feel like I should go to my room ... just on general principle...

How can?

How can you have any pudding, if you don't eat your meat?

If I eat my meat, may I then

If I eat my meat, may I then have my pudding?

Smile for the birdy

You should see him when he's NOT smiling

I love it

Such a great expression!
