They are adjusted by your webmaster for contrast and color in Photoshop before being downsized and turned into the jpegs you see here.

According to the 2010 census, Baltimore ranks 5th, at 64%, among U.S. cities with the highest African-American populations. There is a long and rich culinary tradition here, with crabcakes being perhaps the most famous.
