Party Time: 1954

This was a party thrown for my mom and dad who are somewhat lost in the background, behind the cut-ups in front. At the house of a friend in South Pasadena, 1954. This is one-half of a 3D photo card. View full size.

Light up and drink up!

This congenial crowd appears to really like each other and are truly enjoying this gathering. The lady with her pink-sleeved, bejeweled arm extended into the left side of the photo must be a hand model as she does have a lovely and delicate hand. Wish I was there.

Clothes

I love the clothes from the fifties! Check out the lady's gloves. So classy!

Ya load

... sixteen tons an whata ya get? Another day older and deeper in debt.

[I think maybe you're at the wrong party! -Dave]

MadMen

I am certain that Don Draper and Roger Sterling have to be in this scene somewhere.

I've got a secret

Say, isn't that Bill Cullen facing the camera?

Raising the tone

With David Niven at your party.

Classy Folk!

What a well-dressed group. The fellow in the green shirt with no tie reminds me of George Reeves. The pocket handkerchief in his pocket is a cool touch.

Wish those times could return and also wish I could afford the clothes to participate!

Great photo!
