Gas tank location

Ford kept the under dash gas tank through the 1931 models. They were gravity feed and covered by the cowl. Many a person torched his car, if not himself, checking the fuel level by lighting a match to see how much was left. (Funny, I just Googled that last line and all I get are Ford Pinto stories.)

Not a very dry place

for Riding the Storm Out.

REO Speedwagon

I wonder if he's making a delivery to 157 Riverside Avenue? It doesn't look like rain so he doesn't have to worry about riding' the storm out. He needs to quit dawdling and take it on the run, though.

I wish I could quit making these stupid comments but, alas, I can't fight this feeling anymore.

Weird

That they named the car after a band.

Safety First

Notice the wonderfully safe location of the petrol tank.

Surely not!

Is that the gas tank right in front of the driver?
