Ohmygosh!

I had the lamb(p) in the left amoeboid in my bedroom in the early 60's.

Re: January 27, 1947

Thanks davidk. I was able to take a few shots in between meetings this week (on those rare days of late when it wasn't raining), so my wife didn't have to suffer through my fun.

The Baby Boom!

The store is all stocked up and ready for the Baby Boom!

January 27, 1947

Thanks be to Gottscho-Schleisner and Dave for this ninth in a series of photos from the shoot that day (a Monday) in Paterson, NJ of this remarkable store. The series began in February 2013, and I hope there are plenty to go for the coming years.

In other Shorpy news, kudos to TimeAndAgainPhoto for the ongoing series of updates -- all the DC marvels, most recently. (Gold star to wife for patience.)

Hear 'da boids choiping?

If it is Paterson, that would be in Joisey and this apparel would be for boys and goils. I wonder if they have any poiple skoits for goils.

A Wild Hare
