War Stories

Whenever I see a picture of a Liberator I think of 2 missions. One was the "Lady Be Good" and the other the August 12, 1944 flight of "Operation Aphrodite." Both interesting incidents if you care to look them up.

It's not a Fortress

It's a B-24 Liberator, built by Consolidated. The B-17 was by Boeing.
