Unmistakeably Marion

How does she do it? This simple scene would seem to offer few opportunities for a photographer to assert his/her unique style, but there's something about the contrast, the shadows, the I-don't-know-what, that allowed me to see at a glance that this is the work of MPW. Perhaps a photographer will explain it to me.
