Great image. I just have to wonder though - was it was the photographer who directed Herman to stare off into some other dimension or do was Herman himself just either uncomfortable looking directly into the camera - or yet, just being a bit melodramatic. The boots are great. I had to wear some like that for a production that I was in recently, and I can tell you that they are a royal pain to get in and out of. Fortunately, the prop manager, a spry 88 years old, had a boot button hook tool thing that she and her sister used when they were children that had been given to them by her mother.
