Brass Tools

The Brass Cleaning Tool Set was still the rage in the late Fifties-early Sixties. The shovel, the round broom, and the stoker - along with the handled-stand that provided a platform for the three tools. Note the four finial tipped shafts.

Did every 1950s living room have a fireplace set like that? Check out ours here. Not exactly the same, but close. Great shot! Reminds me I need to put up my cowboy outfit and hobby horse photo from around the same time.
