The RL World

Perfect -- this is the "look" that RL is trying to emulate. He can't imitate that reality today however. Gone forever.

This would be Georgetown Prep today.

Robin whispering

I thought of that movie too when I saw this picture. I wonder if these boys did something great in their lives. I'll never know.

Polo Players

Youth, vitality and confidence--their entire lives still in front of them. It doesn't change generation after generation. Wonderful photo. And to think, some of these young men believed those "shoulder pads" actually were helping them play the game. These guys belong in a Ralph Lauren Polo ad, they really do.

Matt Damon

Next to the football on the right. He's aged well.

Lovely sweaters

You can't put that style on modern football players - they don't have the necks for them.

Robin Williams

Listen, you hear it? - - Carpe - - hear it? - - Carpe, carpe diem, seize the day, boys!
