Thank you, I had a feeling this was taken in San Francisco. I have a few other photos from the same collection I'm pretty sure they are also from the bay area, I'll post them soon.
Behind the car is the back side of the Spreckels Temple of Music, the bandshell at the southwest end of the Music Concourse in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park. The Temple, which was a gift of Claus Spreckels, the sugar magnate, was built in 1900. The car is near the entrance of the Japanese Tea Garden, which began as part of the 1894 California Mid-Winter International Exposition. The Music Concourse was originally the Grand Court of the Exposition.
