All smiles for this coach party

One of a set of three photographs a good friend found for me at a postcard fair.
A party of day trippers visiting Blackpool, Lancashire, in the 1950's. Their coach is a very early Volkswagen de luxe microbus, more commonly called a 'samba' now. Probably imported into the UK in 1954, when production of RHD models started. It is sign written 'Gem Luxury Coaches'.
The Lindfield guest house in the background is still operating today. View full size.
