Rob and Laura redux: Another glimpse of Mary Tyler Moore and Dick Van Dyke on the "Dick Van Dyke Show" set in 1963. Photo by Earl Theisen for the article "America's Favorite TV Wife" in Look magazine. View full size.
No Problem.
Give that women her own show.
The TV Land cable network has recently been running episodes of the "Dick Van Dyke Show." Despite aspects we moderns may regard as naïve or corny (Rob and Laura have twin beds, something even Lucy and Ricky abandoned eventually), much of the writing is quite crisp and the performances of all and sundry are commendable. Highly recommended for those whose gag reflex is challenged by Honey Boo Boo, who/whatever that is.
[For $7 a month, you can see any episode of "The Dick Van Dyke Show" at any time on Netflix streaming. - Dave]
