That October light

The last three photos in this series have been beautiful.

Tar & gravel

The kind of road surface that conjures up memories of the secondary roads around our Guernewood summer place along California's Russian River. Complete with sections of almost pure tar that stuck to the soles of your Keds, because of course you had to step on those.

I can't put my finger on it, but there's something dark in this picture that's breaking bad.
