Dome Noir: 1940

Washington, D.C., circa 1940. "U.S. Capitol exteriors. Dome of Capitol through trees at night." 8x10 acetate negative by Theodor Horydczak. View full size.

Beautifully composed

The capitol dome is a photographic cliche, but this photo does it justice. It's always nice to see a Theodor Horydczak photo I haven't seen before.
