Single Shot Breech Loader

That rifle is an odd one. Looks like a Belgian Made Flobert/Warnant. It is a breech loading single shot, likely a .32 caliber. The trigger guard is a nice style.

What's the deal with the gun?

Probably used it to shoot fowl balls.

Picking off the runner at third

These guys didn't mess around.
