Not really a bad job

As a teenager I worked in both a tomato cannery and sauerkraut factory. Hard work, but from what I have seen on Shorpy, can't compare to the coal mines and cotton mills. In retrospect I'm sure the 12 hour days were illegal, but it gave me the spending cash for my first shotgun and gas money.
