Engine Co. 4 Firehouse

This is Virginia Avenue between 4½ and Sixth Streets SW. The building at right with the flag on the roof is the DCFD Engine Company 4 firehouse, which was abandoned Sept. 12, 1940. Since the flag is flying, the house is still active.
