Alveda at 13

Based on 1930 and 1940 census records, this is most likely Alveda White, age 13 in 1940.

No electricity

All of the lights in the picture are kerosene lamps; this was not a home with electricity in 1940.

Down the Up Staircase

Reflections

Stairway to Heaven

Caught!

The person holding the lights can be seen in the mirror.
