Aggregate Conglomerate

Minnesota Mining and Manufacturing, more widely known as 3M, began with a small mine in northern Minnesota. It went from gravel and aggregates to sandpaper and now makes a wide variety of products for a wide variety of industries.

Cuyuna Range

My father worked the mines on the Cuyuna Range near Crosby, Minnesota, and in 1941, tons of "usable ore" were shipped from Cuyuna. Maybe this ore is Cuyuna Range ore.
