I happened to photograph that "Owl" wall last October with my 1942 Adox Adrette.
The building about halfway down the street with the "Coors On Tap" sign is quite droopy. I'm amazed it's held on to today.
Where have you bean all my life?

I'm loving this series. I spent quite a bit of time in Central City in the early 1970s. In the 30 years that passed between Vachon's visits and my own, not much had changed -- it was still rustic. It's a very different place now that the casinos have completely taken over.
