February 1943. Madison, Wisconsin. "Gordon Swanstrom and Morell Babcock of Burnett County, students in the farm short course at the University of Wisconsin." Medium format acetate negative by Jack Delano for the Office of War Information. View full size.
Easy enough to identify some of the pinups --
Claudette Colbert (Palm Beach Story ad)
Marilyn Maxwell
Ingrid Bergman (Casablanca)
The February 6, 1943, issue has its cover torn off.

I can't ID all of them but I see these for sure. The three largest pinups are:
Claudette Colbert
Marilyn Maxwell
Evelyn Ankers
I also see Ingrid Bergman in the hat below Marilyn Maxwell. Just to the top and right of the light bulb I see Gene Tierney -- I think all three of the pics in that diagonal between Marilyn Maxwell and Evelyn Ankers are Gene, actually.
I think the one in the round frame behind the curtain is Vivien Leigh.

There’s a large photo of Claudette Colbert in the upper left and a small one of Greer Garson in the lower right. But the only one that makes my heart flutter is the genuinely sophisticated and stylish Ingrid Bergman in the center—she knew how wear a hat.
The University of Wisonsin still offers a farm short course. The program runs from November through April, and can take 1-2 years. A quick look at several land grant colleges showed they have similar programs.
With the need of spectacles for both young men, their eyes seem to be taking quite a strain. They might want to knock it off with the Pinups.
Before they go blind.
When I was a young man, it was Farrah Fawcett and Catherine Bach (Daisy Duke) on the dorm room wall.
