Wonderful Photo!

Commissioned on 10/27/31, this innovative airship took to the air with a fatal flaw which led to its demise as well as the Macon. The cruciform fins were shortened and extended by bureaucrats who insisted that the rear emergency control station in the lower fin be within line-of-sight of the main control station. Thus, the fins were shortened and made longer despite the original design. They failed in service, breaking away, and leading to the crash of both ships.
