Hourglass shape

I know they wore corsets under their bathing suits, but the lady with the hourglass shape looks like she was wearing something that exaggerated her hips a bit, too! Either that, or that corset was awfully tight!

Leave me wondering about the colors.

Anyone care to colorize the garb in my mind for me? Were all the suits navy blue? That's what I imagine, but I have no idea.
