I went down to old St. Paul
To see what I could see.
I left my coat a-hangin'
Upon that old oak tree.
The man from Sanitation took it
Mama don't you weep for me.

Crop that just right, so the coat is on one side and the vanishing-point sidewalk on the other, and it could be an Edward Gorey drawing come to real life.
