Stetson U: 1904

Stetson U: 1904

DeLand, Florida, circa 1904. "School of Technology and Hall of Science, John B. Stetson University." 8x10 inch dry plate glass negative. View full size.

10 Gallon

I can't believe no one commented on the young man wearing a Stetson at the university named after John Batterson Stetson, the inventor of the cowboy hat. Flagler Hall (pictured here) was the first building erected. The school has done a tremendous job of preserving much of its original architectural beauty. Go Hatters!

Must be da place!
