Sherry's Bathing Pavilion

The first building, with the nice clock tower, is Sherry's Bathing Pavilion. It wasn't easy to spot the building among the many pictures of buildings, mostly the Casino, in Narragansett Pier.

A similar shot, taken from the very same spot, with other people but the same chair on the beach, was chosen for a DPC postcard.

Lovely

Soaked my toes in this very spot every one of fifty years. The beach and surf have not changed a lick. Actual pier is gone and buildings come and go, but no better beach for a swim or stroll.
