Hats

I would wear any one of those today on the course!

Mind your Niblicks

I love the simplicity of the club caddy. A curved cane handle, spiked foot, leather cylinder to keep your gutties, and the hoop and cup to hold your cleeks, mashies, niblicks and such.

Clubby

I count only three golf bags lying on the ground plus that bare-bones club conveyor stuck into the ground on the right. Is it possible that not every player carried his own set of clubs and that some of them might have shared clubs?

Dog Leg

Them and the one you cannot get around.

O such manly men!

Golf has always mystified me, more so in recent years. These fellows seem so self satisfied about knocking a little ball around in the grass with their burly sticks! Yes it's a game but hardly a sport!

Such impressive poses!

First time I've seen

A real dogleg on the left.

Party of Eight?

Mustaches and arms (or arm, singular) akimbo seem to be the fashion of the day.

Is the kid in the back a caddy, or just the most junior golfer?

Doh! I can't count, there are only seven in the party.

Good choice

I see the dogs are not retrievers. That's probably a good idea.
