This picture was taken in December, 1930 on farm north of Alpena, SD. From left to right: My uncle, Ariel Ochsner, died 12/26/1986. My uncle Marcus Ochsner, died 6/8/1934 at 15 years old, accidental gunshot wound to the head. He was out cultivating with team of horses and had rifle with him and it discharged. My aunt Pauline Ochsner, turned 94 on 3/3/2007. My mom Esther Gordon, died 8/22/2000.
This is a picture of my dad (far left) with the rest of the original kids in the Our Gang comedy. This was a silent film, made in the 1920's.

Every fall in Cleveland, Ohio, there would be a harvest festival sponsored by a Catholic Church. The hall would be decorated with grapes and other fruits and vegetables. For several weeks beforehand we had to learn the steps to two or three dances that would be performed on festival day. My mother made my costume - we rented my brother's costume. That's me in the top row, third from the left. My brother is the boy at the end of the second row on the right. View full size.
The 29th Reunion of the the 122nd New York Volunteer Regiment held in Syracuse, NY on August 28th 1891. The white hair gentleman sitting front row center is my great, great, great grandfather, Col. Silas Titus, who was the commander of the regiment during the Civil War.

I am not sure where this photo was taken or when, there was no information upon the photo. I wish I knew the story....I figure it was a school photo it is just an amazement to look at this and imagine the lifestyle... No smiles either...
